2025 Installation Artists
Philip Gresham
Philip Gresham started creating spray paint stencils and posters as a teenager. Through his time at the Kansas City Art Institute, his graffiti tendencies were reformed to making woodcut and lithographic prints. His work explores the competition of structure and nature which he often sees first-hand in his woodworking shop.
Bethanie Irons
Bethanie Irons is an artist living and working in Columbia, Missouri. She graduated from the University of South Dakota with a BFA in Art and from the University of Missouri with an MFA in Art and Ph.D. in Art Education.
Bethanie’s passion for art is rooted in play and experimentation. Whether working with digital tools or traditional media, she approaches each project with a willingness to take risks and the belief that creative exploration can lead to surprising and meaningful outcomes.
Ellen Wilson
Sasha Goodnow
Ellen Wilson is an English teacher at Hickman High School here in Columbia, MO. She is creative and quick, stylish and funny. Don’t miss this interactive art installation. She will write a Haiku all about you. On the spot! You can take home an original typewritten poem as a reminder of how much fun you had at The Zipper Fest this year!
Sasha is a self-taught artist from Columbia, Missouri with emphasis in experimental film and fiber-based work for over 10 plus years. She has created video and sculptural art installations for True False Film Festival, Citizen Jane Film Festival, Dismal Niche Music Festival, Art in the Park and Zipper Fest. She is currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science at the University of Missouri and serves as the Board secretary for the Columbia Art League.
